Other new things at our house...

In the midst of everything else, Kara got her hair cut to help cut down her prep time in the morning. I like it.

One evening recently I made a Mocha Frappuchino for Kara and the baby only for our other two children to want their own straws to help mommy enjoy it. It sure is a good thing that it was decaf!

The latest change/new thing has been the addition of a new vehicle to our garage. Monday night we purchased a 2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca with 24,000 miles on it. It replaced our ailing '95 Nissan Altima which was in need of new brakes and only had 178,000 miles on it. Here are some pictures of our new vehicle.

Random things happening at our house

Here are some other pictures of an evening of sun-butter-playdough sometime in the last month or so. As you can see in the pictures below Kaelyn was more interested in playing than Jonah was. He liked eating it better.

This last picture was a snake gone wrong as we were cleaning up for the night.

Medical Updates

We've had lots of doctor's visits lately. Jonah got tubes in his ears on September 18th, 2 weeks after Kaelyn broke her arm. Three weeks after getting her cast on, Kaelyn's cast came off and the pins came out.

Everything has went well for both of them. Below are some pictures of Kaelyn at the doctor getting her cast taken off. BEWARE, some of the final pictures could make some people a little squeemish.

Kaelyn watched the whole time she was taking the cast off and then just squeezed bear tight while they pulled the pins out of her arm with a pair of plyers. Her biggest concern then was the holes that she was going to have in her arm.

Here are the pictures, enjoy!
